1. Why do you use surface finishes in the interior, considering the range of other solutions available for the surface decor?

The modern building market is changing very quickly, new materials are appearing, technology is changing, more constructive solutions are being invented. However, there are old traditions that were relevant at all times and continue to show their promising development.

These materials include surface finish for walls. It is a material that helps to make any repairs and to realize incredible design tasks. This material is time-tested. And what else can guaranty the right repair investment?

Above all, this is a genuine material prepared from the natural basis. It is reliable and durable. The easy restoration of damaged areas in the residence areas is impressive.

In bathrooms and kitchens, where the air humidity is significantly higher, one of the main advantages is the plaster’s vapor permeability. The material’s good absorbent properties prevent fogging of windows and mirrors in such rooms. This way, a favorable microclimate is created.

This decorative material is very practical and easy to maintain – the surface is perfectly cleaned with a mild detergent and warm water. In addition, this kind of plaster has high water resistance, low water absorption, good covering surface.

2. How does the surface plaster relate to the interior’s style?

When we are working on the interior, the customer's individuality and “personal comfortable” style play a huge role. And the surface finishing is no exception. In my opinion, listening to the customer is extremely important. A good interior is the one which is made for a specific person and cannot be replicated anywhere else.

Indeed, the choice of the texture for a certain interior requires a careful approach. We are just like artists choosing the background, on which all the colors and shades of the painting need to live and get along... Details and accents must interact with each other, complement and reveal the main theme in the story. And, of course, everything should work for one result – the aesthetics of this image!

3. What was the main task you set for the Decor Studio "Faktura.UA" regarding the decorative effects for the interior?

The interior, like any living organism, resides in the stages of growth, filling, reincarnation, until its very end... And in all these intermediate stages only the designer and customer know what end result the work of all the construction and decor specialists is headed for.

I’m content with the Decor Studio’s precise understanding of the tasks and their skillful implementation in the interior. To me, as a designer, the visual properties are very important.

And the result of my work is determined by the right choice of visuals... You may not pay due attention to the technology of coating, its final price, although these indicators are important, when the repair is gaining strength. But when the construction work is over, people have to live, breathe and raise their children in this house. Therefore, ECOLOGICAL FACTOR is also my priority.

Nowadays the customers are concerned not just with the aesthetics, but also with the ecology of their home. They realize that this is important for their family’s health and the comfortable sleep of their children.
